The word “midwife” comes from old English and means “with woman”. Midwives have helped women deliver babies since the beginning of history.

I have always been passionate about working with babies and moms and I have dedicated 27 years of my life thus far to being a midwife. Fourteen years ago, amidst having three young children of my own, I founded a clinic aimed at helping mothers and babies so that I could offer anti natal care, childbirth education classes, post natal care (breast feeding advice, etc) and create a general support for mothers-to-be and new mothers.

My children have since grown to ages 23, 27 and 29 but are still very much my babies. I remember all too well how anxious and excited I was with all three of their births. Every new parent is always anxious about what lies ahead as a mother or a father. I live and love to aid mothers and fathers with the right information to equip them to nurse and care for their beautiful babies. Babies should be enjoyed and the experience of becoming a mother is most amazing and fulfilling. It’s the most rewarding feeling knowing that as a midwife I have helped bring so many little ones into the world.
