Inspired and guided through Christianity, Heavenly Flowers owner Heidi Searle was inspired by the Biblical passage Matthew 5:14 to create a place of learning that was more than just preparing young children for school.
Less than a decade ago, Heidi took over a small local crèche just as her daughter ‘Dianthe ‘ was born. Her name, from Greek decent, means ‘Flower of the God’s, and so too, the name “Heavenly Flowers” was conceived.
However originating from a successful corporate environment, Heidi’s focus is hardly as a ‘business’, but more as a passion to fulfil her vision to make Heavenly Flowers like ‘A city set upon a hill that cannot be hid.’ Mat 5:14
Steeped in Religion and symbolism, even the colour scheme of Heavenly Flowers has particular meanings:


As a trend setter within the community, Heavenly Flowers was the first to conceive the idea of providing school going children a safe, controlled environment to focus on and complete their homework assignments in the afternoons, straight after school.
A further Heavenly Flowers innovation has been their ‘Exclusive Baby Centre” - dedicated to infants from 0 till 18 months. With quaint homely small classes, a dedicated changing room with registered nurse and calming tranquil music played softly overhead, their infant children are more likely to arrive home smiling and laughing.
With the same momentum, Heavenly Flowers now plants their foundations squarely upon the hill. 2016 will see the launch of the Heavenly Flowers Private Academy Home Schooling Centre.
Based upon the dual medium - ‘Brainline’ home schooling curriculum, Heavenly Flowers - Grade R children will now have the opportunity to attend ‘big school’, within the same - fun, caring, loving environment that they have grown up with since they were in diapers.
