WHO AM I?
My name is Neville (Nev) van der Spuy. I founded and produce the Fashionable Nonsense Podcast! I currently upload a podcast every month or second week. You can listen to my free podcasts on Youtube (primary), soundcloud and Facebook in order to make learning and thinking cool, fun and easy. I also interview different people about interesting things. My podcast seeks to introduce you to practical scepticism and philosophical self-education in a fun and interactive way. I try to be thorough and precise. I embark upon adventures into the unknown, covering everything from drugs to shoelaces. This podcast will help you grow as a person and it will hopefully trigger some productive thoughts in your mind. No one knows what to believe anymore in this AWEsome and crazy world and I aim to make this show the location for where people can distinguish nonsense from sense and trends from truth.

I want to grow this podcast to become a go-to guide for independent thinkers and curious minds. My goal is to raise the standards of what is thought to be good thinking and revolve the show around improving things rather than pointing fingers at broken things. My goals are to filter out the trash and preserve the valuable, to help you learn some interesting facts and to create more productive discourse in your own mind to make you a happier and healthier person who stands a better chance in this fierce and competitive digital environment. I aim for a happier and more connected podcast society, built on a factual foundation. However, I currently study full time and work four part-time jobs. This makes production difficult without support. I have invested huge time and money into this show over the past year and I want to convert it into even more new and fantastic content. WHERE DOES YOUR MONEY GO?
We begin by investing in operating costs. I update and expand the physical and technological capacity of the show. Hereafter I hire a videographer to add quality to the digital production. Then I distribute the remainder to marketing existing shows and my time to make more AMAZING content.
