Farm Food Catering was established in 2015 with the sole purpose to supply frozen meals at affordable prices. Only the freshest ingredients sourced from local suppliers and farmers are used. Meals are freshly prepared and frozen, ready to reheat and enjoy.



About the Owner

Anthoney James (A-J) Lacy’s journey with food started from a young age in his Gran’s kitchen and later in his family’s guesthouse, where he would help with the catering.

His passion for food stayed with him and, while interning at the Sheraton Pretoria Hotel, he decided to pursue a Diploma in Advanced Kitchen Management, Professional Cookery and Patisserie.

After completing his Diploma, he was offered the exciting opportunity of working in the kitchen of the Ritz Carlton hotel in Florida, USA. He then worked for a short time in the Seychelles.

On returning to South Africa, he worked at various restaurants and hotels, and in 2012 started work as Sous Chef for a well-known corporate bank. It was after three years here that he decided it was time to start his own business and to realize his dream – to help the customer save time and money, and to reduce food wastage.

Farm Food Catering’s meals are ready-to-reheat from frozen or thawed in the fridge. Simply remove meal from the container, reheat for approximately 7 minutes in the microwave, serve and enjoy.
