acceptable, it is not antibacterial), disposable paper towels, spout type cooler with water & container
to catch waste water.
□ Trashcan with lid.
□ Bleach solution for trash – containers need to be labeled.
□ Anti-bacterial ointment
□ Germicidal spray for tables & chairs.
□ 24 sets of dated needles and tubes/expire after 6 months.
□ Sharps container for needles, and proof of arrangement with sharps disposal company.
□ Disposable latex gloves.
□ Plastic sheets to apply over floor if carpeted.
□ Plastic garbage bag over chair
□ Aftercare instructions
□ Client records to be kept for 5 years with name/signature of client, address, artist’s name, tattoo
design & location on body.
□ Everything needs to be single –use.
□ No food, drink or smoking at stations.
□ Clients advised of risks before tattoo administered.
□ Lighting for booth – 20 foot candles at 36 inches off ground
□ An autoclave is needed on site, not required at each booth. Provider to document recent sterilization
monitoring by a professional lab.
□ Body piercer will be required to be in a separate workstation with an enclosure of walls or curtains.
□ Artists will be required to wear clean clothes, short sleeve shirts, long pants, and closed toe shoes.
□ If clients will be under 18, a signed consent with notarization will be required.
Studio fee = $100 per each type studio (Tattoo & Body Piercing)
Artist fee = $20 per artist.
