Entokozweni Place Of Care

Entokozweni Place Of Care is a None Profit Organization, a day care center for children ranging from babies between 1½ years to 5+ (Grade RR) and we are situated right next to the Mpumalanga Township SAPS police station

The institution was established by voluntarily by community members in 1973, who worked towards initiating additional day care centres within Mpumalanga Township and some of these members were later absorbed by The World Vision of South Africa – promoting Early Childhood Education plus Organizing of international sponsorship for the needy South African Children.

The original 30m2 building of the creche’ was donated by the then Township Manager and this room was utilised as the kitchen, Class and Office.
Through the support from various organizations over the past years, the creche has now grown to 6 classes, a fully equipped kitchen, Office, Emergency Room and adequate lavatory facilities.

The creche caters for 200+ children and employs 7 qualified Early Childhood Development Educators plus kitchen and garden Staff and we are registered with all relevant ECD and Government Bodies.
