Ehlanzeni Arts Academy

The academy is in the business of educating, producing and promoting the performing arts.

We provide contact classes in dance, drama and music. Our students receive a Further Education and Training (FETC) Certificate on completion of our training course which is offered for a period of two years.

We also offer a short course through workshops in local communities. Our fieldworkers train, mentor and coach performing artists in theatre, music and dance related skills. On completion of the unit standards of our short course members receive a certificate.

Through our production and promotion program the academy produces and presents performances to theatres, festivals and other events. We also organize a regional performing arts showcase and seek various other opportunities such as bursaries for further study, auditions and castings for our artists.
