Dr Ferdi Adams

Graduated at US 1987; did houseman year at Tygerberg Hospital and stint as casualty doctor at Kimberley Hospital up to end 1989 .He then joined Dr Winston Johnson as GP in Bellville and Kuilsriver for 1990.
After tragic death of Dr.Charles Bailey he took over the late doctors surgery at that stage situated at Ivanhoe Park until the practice moved to Kassbell Paarl Medical Centre in 2002 operating there until now.
The practice has over the years established itself as a prominent landmark in Paarl East due to location as well as provider of accessible affordable and quality healthcare.
Dr Adams also took an active part as sports doctor providing care to multiple schools and rugby clubs in Paarl and subsequently became a household name in Boland Rugby providing medical service to Boland Cavaliers and Boland Rugby Unions different divisions from 2002 until end 2014.
Since 2007 he also acted in various capacities a SASSA examiner .
He currently is pursuing further studies part time in Public Healthcare after brief role as NHI pilot medical officer in Mpumalanga Department of Health under auspices of Foundation for Professional Development until December 2015 and is staunch believer that the NHI is a definite solution to eradicate the disparities in healthcare in our beautiful country and would like to continue to play active role in establishing and cooperation between private and public healthcare.
Dr Adams is an established member of the community and well respected and liked by all because he goes the extra mile.
