Doug Snow, your outfitter and Professional Hunter was born and grew up on a farm in the Eastern Cape where he has hunted since a young boy. Qualified as a Professional Hunter in 1990 and has been guiding International clients since.

The area's diversity in climate, altitude, habitats and scenery makes for the best hunting opportunities. The area is approximately 8000 hectares which consists of a wide variety of vegetation consisting of open Savannah Grassland plains, deep valleys covered in dense forest, mixed bush and open plains. The ranch borders the Great Fish River and has 8 km of river frontage. A great variety of animal species are suited to this area. With the good management of the concession ranch "Woodlands" you are assured of good quality trophies.

Although the main operation is based on "Woodlands Game Ranch" we also operate in the rest of Africa and will do our utmost to source any animals you wish to obtain. We offer safaris for the individual, groups and families and can customise packages to suite your needs. We also have photographic, touring and bird hunting safaris on offer.
