Crane Cottage

Crane Cottage is set in a beautiful, tranquil garden in the village of Fort Nottingham, just outside Nottingham Road, in the Natal Midlands.
The village is set amongst rolling hills and working farmland, and is ideal for those who just want to kick back and relax or those who enjoy hiking the hills around it and the seeing the Fort Nottingham Nature Reserve, just a short walk down the road.

The Natal Midlands is an amazing tourist destination for both nature lovers and those shoppers who love to browse. It is full of farm stalls and cottage industries with a large variety of items on sale. Fort Nottingham is just 12 km’s from Nottingham Road and all of their restaurants, bistros, spas, wedding venues and shops.

The cottage comfortable sleeps four people and is self-catering. It has two bedrooms with a separate open plan lounge, dining room and fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove. There is a lovely wood burning fire in the lounge for those colder nights, with plenty of wood supplied free of charge. There are also electric blankets on all of the beds. The bathroom has a beautiful roll top bath and a separate shower.

For the summer months there is also a braai provided and comfortable patio chairs to sit out and enjoy the evenings and the garden.

There is secure under-cover parking behind an electric gate.

Travel times: 45 minutes from Pietermaritzburg. 1.5 hours from Durban and 4.5 hours from Johannesburg
