CEMS : Community Emergency Medical Support

Provide a quality, quick volunteer- response, by trained persons, to medical emergencies, trauma and high angle incidents around Upper Highway , and Surrounding Suburbs of Durban , as a first response to stabilise patients before the arrival of the Emergency Services.

C.E.M.S does NOT transport patient , but provides only initial and primary care to injured , or unwell persons .

C.E.M.S is a registered non-profit and public benefit organisation . C.E.M.S provides a quick volunteer-based first response service. All C.E.M.S practitioners are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa.
C.E.M.S is recognized by ETHEKWINI FIRE DEPARTMENT , PROVINCIAL , PRIVATE AMBULANCE , AND POLICE UNITS .

All calls to our ops phone 24/7 will be answered , if there is no C.E.M.S member available , then we will make sure that someone is attended to your complaint , be it Provincial , or Private . We do NOT discriminate , or ask for and payments in return of our services .

We are always looking at improving C.E.M.S , so any input is of great value to us .
