With vines to one side and a kranz to the other, Calitzdorp Station offers the traveller an idyllic space to rest, and then venture forth to explore the surrounding area. With campsites with electricity, water and braai spots; a space for backpackers; safari tents with beds and white linen; modern ablution facilities; a campers/backpackers kitchen; meals on request (and amazing Nespresso coffee); and an opportunity to sleep over in a quaint, original railway house, the Station offers accommodation to suit all pockets. It also has the facilities for hosting country functions, having been the choice venue for film shoots, weddings, weekend workshops, and the local Port Wine Festival.
