Bokone Meats abattoir is a sophisticated operation with state of the art facilities that can produce large volumes of meat in terms of distribution, cold storage, frozen storage, cutting (beef primarily into prime cuts), deboning and packaging.
Bokone Meats involves the upgrading, repair and approval off the current abattoir in Klerksdorp that efficiently operates within 7,300 square meters.
The intent is that the size of the facility will allow for simplicity to ensure that custom processing (toll) as well as branded product development can be managed. The facility will also address product segregation, manage the hide and offal sales and address SRM (specified risk material) removal.
Our target market will be Government institutions (Prisons, hospitals, mines), Pick n Pay, SPAR and other wholesale and retail markets.
The facility will comply with all required standards to provide accreditation and HACCP.
Bokone Meats will form part of the Bokone Animal Holdings Group and will be 100% subsidiary of the group.
Facility also has a retail division whereby the public can buy meat products directly from the abattoir (FACTORY SHOP)
