The BLS organization has been established by Tebogo Selekolo who has been in the food and water industry for almost 10 years and vast knowledge and experience in chemistry coal, mine industries including Biochemistry in medical laboratories. He’s has previously served as Chemistry Technician until he specializes in Microbiology. He currently serves SANAS as a Technical Assessor in food and water microbiology (ISO 17025) and certification bodies (ISO 17021). He has obtained B. Tech in Biotechnology and B. Tech Pharmaceutical Science.

Tebogo Selekolo is currently the Managing Director of BioSel Laboratory Solutions and has received numerous recognition awards which include SANAS Recognition award as the Best New Comer Technical Assessor and Overall Leadership of the Year Award from JB Marks / NUM. Tebogo has experience from both sides of the table as a Laboratory Manager, Quality Manager and Technical Manager and as a Quality Systems Assessor.

LABORATORY SOLUTIONS BACKGROUND

The BLS is a private company established in June 2013 seeking to provide commercial solutions to various sectors such as agriculture, government and mining sectors in ensuring that food processors & handlers, laboratories and water treatment plants have systems in place and government sector to in both training and laboratory testing of various food products, water, pharmaceutical & cosmetic products. The testing laboratory operates under ISO 17025:2005 for assurance and reliability of the test results generated by the laboratory.

BLS offers extensive and practical applications in two mainstreams; first as consulting & training division and secondly through its testing laboratory services. Consulting and training division serves various business with training in laboratory safety, GLP & GCP and writing of SOPs/ Working Instructions, method validations, training of personnel in various laboratory aspects and more importantly assisting laboratories to obtain SANAS Accreditation status through implementation QMS.

The training offered can be practically and theoretically orientated in accordance to applicable current Testing International Standards Methods, Approved and Validated manufacturer’s scientific methods. BLS offers consulting services various testing laboratories in developing and maintaining SANS ISO/IEC 17025:2005, Internal Audit, Compiling of SOP / Work Instructions and Evaluation of Personnel Competency. BioSel Lab Solutions offers Method Validation in accordance to SANAS TR28-01 in various laboratories.
