Assagai Equestrian

Assagai Equestrian is a competative stable yard and riding school located on the banks of the Klaserie River just 23km outside of Hoedspruit in Limpopo Province, South Africa.

Assagai Equestrian provides stabling of horses, horse riding lessons for all ages and disciplines of riding, as well as backing and schooling of young horses, and further training of older horses.

Assagai Equestrian is located on a peaceful 6 hectare piece of african bushveld. Horses are spoilt to have large airy stables with overhead fans and large individual paddocks with lush shady trees. We have a large 66x40 meter sand arena for jumping and dressage and a 20 meter lunge arena right on the bank of the Klaserie River, as well as long tranquil outrides through the bush where one is likely to see Waterbuck, Bushbuck, Daiker, Giraffe, Impala and Buffalo.

During the day can often see Bushbuck and Giraffe whilst riding in the arena, and in the late afternoon/early evening lions can be heard roaring from the nearby Klaserie and Elandela Game Reserves.
