All In The Kitchen is a family owned food business with Mama Ally at the forefront inspiring all with her soul food and delicious creations.

1991 Saw this foodie family relocating to Mosselbay in a Blue Ford Meteor , complete with four kids (including one week old Bunny), two adults and two yappy poodles in-flight above, Garden Route bound.
The small town of Mosselbay had very little work to offer a Mom with a baking background and a household to run. Mama Ally saw this as a way to get creative and very soon a small enterprise was born. Samoosa’s and Roti’s were the order of the day and everyone was involved, including Tylana who has revealed years later that she still has flashbacks of folding hundreds of Samoosa’s before school in the morning.
1996 Saw the family back in Cape Town, opening Ally’s Kitchen in Table View (Boy De Goede Circle)
This was a wonderful time and it became very clear that there was a real need for home-cooked, wholesome meals for families in the area, unable to cook every evening. This is where the meal business was born and is still the main focus of our business today. The meals continued for years until Gary (aka Big Papi) joined the business officially, followed by eldest son Joel and shortly there-after youngest daughter Bunny.
2008 All In The Kitchen was nominated for a Cape Talk Business Award in Association with Nedbank, Placing Top 10 out of 3549 nominees for Small Business Excellence in the Western Cape.
Some of the most memorable moments have been bigger functions where the whole family jumped on board. Each family member has gripped the spatula or so to speak at some time or another and brought their skills and unique personalities into the business to make it what it is today. I.e Tylana’s Salads, Bunny’s Bakes, Rickys Orange-Acid muffins( it’s not what it sounds like ) and Joel’s Satay Chicken. Big Papi’s range of Chili Powder, Atchar and all things spicy is also a firm favorite.
We are very excited to be opening our shop MARCH 2016 and embarking on our newest and by far boldest adventure yet. All In The Kitchen Deli – 51 Blaauwberg Road. Watch This Space….
