CATEMBE BEACH LODGE is an exclusive, funky, styling and fun-loving lodge, located in Catembe, Maputo. The lodge is set on the beach boasting stunning views of the capital.

This is a new tourist complex which is a renovated British American Tobacco company colonial head office that has been occupied by the Portuguese Navy for the past 20 years, situated at the edge of the waters of "Baia Espirito Santo". The lodge offers various accommodation options as well as tours and activities for the distinguished traveler and adventure seeker.

There is a nearby bakery supplying the infamous bread (pão) that is loved by all visitors and a local market for fresh seasonal supplies. Seaside Restaurants, bars, clubs.

In essence Catembe is a fisherman's village, tranquil, peaceful and with a welcoming, smiling community. Sunrises are spectacular and helping the fishermen on the beach early in the mornings to drag in their nets, entitles you to your portion of the catch, usually prawns and ideal in an omelet for breakfast.
