Action Properties

HISTORY:
Action Properties was established in January 1989 by Ms Mollie Scallan. Mollie ran the company for 25 years, before selling it to Mel and Bill Henson.

PRESENT:
Mel and Bill were returning from the UK and were keen for a new challenge! Since emigrating, Mel, as the Managing Director, and her team have worked hard to ensure the company grows in what is a difficult economy and a huge industry.

MISSION:
Our mission is to provide a service that is second to none.

THE TEAM:
We are a family run company with strong values, and we pride ourselves on offering an integral and professional service.
Managing Director: Mel
Mel studied a BA (Hons) in History at the University of Hull, UK before joining the Royal Air Force in 2005. She commissioned as an Air Traffic Control Officer and served for 10 years before emigrating to Zimbabwe with her husband. She has now been running the company for nearly three years, during which time the company's reputation has grown and so too has the business.

Sales:
Registered Agent: Mollie
Mollie established the company in January 1989, when she was already a Registered Agent.
She is still the company’s Registered Agent and is also one of our Sales Negotiators.
Sales Negotiators: Zia and Jackie
We have two additional Sales Negotiators; Zia and Jackie. Zia has over 15 years experience as a Sales Negotiator, both in Zimbabwe and South Africa. Jackie completed her Estate Agents Council exams in 2015 and her Valuation exams in 2016.

Rentals:
Property Manager: Winnette
Winnette worked for Fox & Carney for 13 years, managing residential and commercial properties, before joining Action Properties in May 2014.
Property Manager: Tish
Tish joined the company in June 2016 having worked as the Administration Manager on the exclusive Princess Drive Development; 14 units of modern, luxury townhouses in Newlands.
Property Manager: Candice
Candice began working at Action Properties in March 2017. She is experienced in Real Estate, having worked at Kinleigh Folkard and Hayward, London for 4 years before returning to Zimbabwe.

Support Staff:
In addition to the team outlined above, we have a support staff whom we would be lost without! They include our Administration Manager, Patience, our Bookeeper, Sheena, and our Messenger, Norman.
