Our beautiful town of ostriches, historical buildings, open landscapes, huge mountains and great weather is what has inspired me to share this amazing area.
Although the Klein Karoo ("Klein meaning "Small" and the "Karoo" name, derived from the Khoisan word meaning "land of thirst") in which Oudtshoorn is located, is a barren landscape, this 290 km long valley is separated by the impressive Swartberg Mountain range in the north and the Langeberg-Outeniqua range to the south.
