Stretching from Hangklip to Pearly Beach, including Pringle bay, Betty’s bay, Kleinmond, Bot River, Hermanus, Stanford and Gansbaai, the Whale Coast is one of the Cape’s most beautiful natural environments and boasts the unique advantage of being the world’s best land based Whale watching location, incorporating a Marine Reserve. The area also has outstanding nature reserves with their rich variety of birds and plants, including indigenous fynbos, and a wonderful choice of hiking trails. All the towns along the Whale Coast have spectacular mountains and sea as their backdrop, providing a variety of activities to suit residents and visitors alike. We have created a business directory with the intention of bringing together in one publication a listing of participating businesses in the Whale Coast area. We trust that whether you are a resident or a visitor to the area you will find the directory, and the on-line version, most useful. Whale Coast Conservation (WCC) is a Public Benefit Organisation that cares for the beautiful and diverse environment of the Cape Whale Coast on behalf of all who live, work and visit here. Through its workshops, exhibits, talks, and citizen-science projects, WCC informs people about the uniqueness of their environment, the threats it faces and what they can do to conserve this asset. WCC can only do its work with funding from public donations and grants. We are donating 10% of all advertising revenue generated from this directory to WCC. Businesses that have supported the Whale Coast business directory have directly benefited the continued work of WCC in sustaining the beautiful environment in which we live
